Repack loose eggs into premium 10-egg and 30-egg packs. This uses plastic cartons and labels from your store materials, and adds the finished packs to stock so you can sell them.

Flock Assets (Hens)
Record hen purchases as biological assets. The cost (minus expected spent-hen value) is depreciated monthly into the P&L automatically; the purchase appears in cash flow; the flock's book value appears on the balance sheet.

Rearing Batches (Chicks)
Buy day-old chicks and raise them. All rearing costs accumulate into the batch (capitalized, not expensed). When you transfer the pullets to a layer house, the batch becomes a depreciating flock asset automatically.
